Wendy Davis is a Texas Democratic Representative who lately made headlines leading the filibuster from the Abortion bill. The 50 year old politician is a Harvard Law grad, and it has spent many years practicing law. Due to her popularity she recovered her seat during several elections until 2007. Having a concentration on transport, economic development and area problems Wendy supported and lead a slue of developmental projects including creating a Radio Shack corporation headquarters. In 2010 Wendy was reelected and is up for reelection in 2014.
